SAS

Statistical Analysis System (SAS) was collectively developed by Professors A. J. Barr and J. H. Goodnight from the Department of Statistics at North Carolina State University. This system is used to assist software programs for mathematical and statistical analysis. SAS is used in numerous areas around the world, including finance, medicine and health, production, transportation, communications, scientific research, government, education, and other fields. SPSS

SPSS was initially short for Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, which was a commercial statistical software for social science studies. This software program slowly became widely used by people from different walks of life, as its functions were gradually bolstered with a number of statistical analysis packages. SPSS is now short for Statistical Product and Service Solutions. SPSS is well-known for its calculation and point-and-click interfaces, making it an easy-to-use program for users who are new to program writing. SPSS company was acquired by IBM in 2009.
